Excellent Scrubs Return
Thank you ABC, for doing one thing right this season. Though you may have canceled the beloved Pushing Daisies, but you were nice enough to take Scrubs in when NBC treated it like shit. The hilarious Medical comedy came back, and boy was it awesome. I was particularly fond of the end credits scene for the premiere episode (nice little allusion to it coming over to a new network and not gonna just fool around through the season). It’s nice, also, seeing Courteney Cox back on TV in the comedy realm (though I do miss Dirt). I also caught a couple of other little things (is it just me or am I thinking of scrubs slightly mocking House (hello, Maddox = Cuddy, the bear stubble on JD now kind of House-like, not to mention him naming the interns himself (based on the Facts of Life, but still, House took it upon himself in the last season to name his new staff the way he wanted, like Thirteen, I still don’t know what her actual name is.) All in all, I hope the numbers are sold, ’cause there isn’t enough good comedies on air right now, I’d hate for it to go (though I’d understand if it went off for creative purposes, I just hate it when good shows get canceled).
