Obama Disrupts TV…Again, CW Unaffected

Watched Rachel Maddow last night, and apparently, one thing Bush did right was not come on Primetime TV unnecessarily. I support Obama in that he’s not Bush, but can the TV shuffle stop? Everyone knows that the TV Networks are struggling with ratings, and so why make things worse? Anyway, tonight, March 24, 2009, he’ll go on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, as well as CNN, MSNBC, and FOX NEWS, to yet again address the nation on the economy. It’s bad, but doesn’t he get it’s making it worse for the networks, anmd our favorite TV shows? Because it’s tonight at 8PM, CBS pushed NCIS to 9PM (so for those of you that watch it, it’s on, just on at 9PM), which means if you all watch the Mentalist, it’s on at 10PM (which is a timeslot that gets good ratings, but not those 9PM ratings, so unless people decide to stay up past their bedtimes, I see this having slightly lower ratings), and FOX will once again cater to American Idol, pushing it to Wednesday for its dumbass 2hr broadcast, and Thursday will see that other airing it just has to have, meaning, no Bones, this week (which was supposed to be uninterrupted after two months of flip-flopping scheduling, due to Bush, American Idol (3 or 4 times), and Obama’s first Primetime address as President. But, like any other major press conference that disrupts the schedule, just like it’s predessor the WB, the CW will not air it, so that means, if you just want to escape the reality that is our crumbled economy, tune in to the CW (if you got it) and check out the highly underrated comedy Reaper. Come on, a series about a guy who is the Devil’s bounty hunter (and actually, is also the son of the Devil), balancing work, a relationship, and putting up with his friends (one crushing on his step sister, the other dating a demon that tried to kill him), it’s all good fun, and will make you smile.
